As a part of B. Ed Curriculum  we, the teacher trainees had to undergo a residential Community Living Camp of five days. The camp was name "Nabhas" which meant "{The Home of Oneness". Our camp started on 09-05-2017 (tuesday) and 13-05-2017 (saturday) and our college Sabarigiri College of Education itself was selected as the Camp site. The residential facilities were also arranged in the school hostel of the Sabarigiri Institutions. Special arrangements were made by the whole Sabarigiri team for the grand success of the camp. It's a joint camp of student teachers and teacher educators.

The main objective of such camp is to maintain to make us learn to live together co-operatively, to develeop personal and social skills through participation of programmes, to practice democratic living and to provide chances for division of labour, community work.
etc. it also help in the modification of character and removes stage fear and shyness from the minds of student teachers.

Our camp was inaugurated at 10 am on 09-05-2017 by our chairman Dr. V.K Jayakumar supported by our principal Mr. Brahmanandan , chairperson Thrishna. S and Camp
 Co-ordinator Miss Bincy Baby.
The student teachers were divided into four groups i.e; Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter and each group had allocated with couple of duties each day like programme committee, food committee, finance committee and health committee etc. Each committee was strictly advised to be responsible for the duties and each of them should make their individual effort in overall success of the camp.
Overall the camp was good, we used to gather every day 6.30 pm at the general hall for the community prayer, which included the inculcation of hindus, muslims and christians. It was a great feeling to be able to be part of the prayer made us realize that each religion advoctes the same thing i.e; humane, peace and harmony.
